I'm Marcus Chong, a CEA licensed property agent (Reg. No. R073306Z) with ERA Singapore, part of the Joseph Khoo Division. I work all over Singapore, with sellers, landlords, buyers, and tenants, on HDBs, condos, landed homes, and commercial units. Wherever your property is, I'll come to you. I'm also co-founder of JustRentLah, one of Singapore's most-loved camera rental houses, with over 1,000 five-star reviews across Google, Carousell, and Facebook. Running it taught me what actually keeps customers happy: fast replies, doing what you say you'll do, and treating people fairly. I bring exactly that to property.

Why "The Big Friendly Agent"?
If the name sounds familiar, yes, it is a nod to The BFG, the Big Friendly Giant. It resonated with me for two simple reasons: I am big and tall, and I have always been the friendly guy. Now that I am a property agent, it just fit.
2026 marks a new chapter for me. After years of co-running JustRentLah, I officially started my property agent journey, something I had been quietly working towards for a while.
From the start, I wanted to do it in a way that feels true to me. Whether it is a big decision or just a quick check on area, timing, pricing, or your next steps, I want to be the friendly person you can actually talk to, who helps you make sense of it all clearly.
I always treat customers the way I would like to be treated. And if something does not sit right, I will say so, even if it costs me the deal. No pressure, no jargon, no agent who only calls when there is a commission in it.

What Working with Me Actually Looks Like
A lot of agents will tell you they're different. Most aren't. The real difference is usually visible in small things, whether they reply promptly, whether they tell you things that are inconvenient but true, whether they push you to transact or actually help you think.
My approach is straightforward. When someone comes to me, I try to understand their actual situation first, not jump straight to listings or pricing. Sometimes the right advice is to wait. Sometimes the right advice is to move quickly. I'd rather give you the honest read and lose a transaction than close a deal that wasn't right for you.
Most of my business comes from referrals and repeat clients. That doesn't happen by accident, it happens when people feel that someone genuinely looked out for them.
